1 Reviews on “Presidential Suites – Puerto Plata”
My first trip to the DR started unexpectedly — we met a few people who invited us to check out the resort, offering free transportation, meals, and drinks, so we went for it. I’m glad we did — it’s definitely one of the nicer resorts I’ve stayed at. There are plenty of food options, the buffets are good quality, and the restaurants are even better (just make sure to make reservations for some).
I ended up getting a VIP membership, which gives you access to exclusive areas and events. The resort experience itself is solid — relaxing, clean, and well-maintained. That said, I wouldn’t recommend buying a membership outright. There are multiple membership tiers, and while the perks are nice, the partnerships with other resorts around the world are a bit oversold and underdelivered.
If you’re thinking of going, I’d suggest using someone else’s membership instead — you’ll still enjoy the VIP benefits without the long-term commitment.
