Rebel Salute is Jamaica’s premier roots reggae festival — a two-night celebration of conscious music, culture, and Rastafarian heritage held annually in January in Saint Ann, Jamaica. Founded by legendary reggae artist Tony Rebel in 1994, the festival is renowned for its strict no-alcohol, no-meat policy, creating a uniquely spiritual and family-friendly atmosphere that sets it apart from any other music festival in the Caribbean.

Held at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Saint Ann, Rebel Salute draws thousands of reggae lovers from Jamaica and across the diaspora each year. Saint Ann Parish — known as the “Garden Parish” of Jamaica — is the birthplace of Marcus Garvey and Bob Marley, making it a deeply significant destination for the African diaspora. The parish is home to Ocho Rios, Dunn’s River Falls, and some of Jamaica’s most beautiful natural landscapes.
