Why I Recommend Royalton Bávaro

When people ask me where I would recommend staying in the Dominican Republic, one of the places I can personally recommend is Royalton Bávaro Resort & Spa in Punta Cana.

I stayed at Royalton Bávaro during my own travels to the Dominican Republic, and based on my experience, it is somewhere I would recommend to another traveler looking for an all-inclusive resort experience. Having your accommodations, dining, pools, entertainment, and beach access together makes it easy to settle in, relax, and enjoy your vacation.

My Experience Beyond the Resort

One thing I would encourage travelers to do is experience more than just the resort. Some of my favorite memories came from getting out and exploring.

I especially enjoyed visiting the monkey enclosure and natural pool. That is an experience I would recommend to someone visiting the area and looking for something memorable to add to their trip.

I also tried an ATV excursion during my visit. While I would absolutely consider riding ATVs again, I would choose a different ATV experience next time. Every part of a vacation is not necessarily something you would recommend, and I think sharing that is just as valuable as sharing the things you loved.

My Recommendation to Other Travelers

If you are considering Punta Cana and want the convenience of an all-inclusive resort, Royalton Bávaro is a place I would recommend based on my own stay.

But don’t spend your entire vacation at the resort. Get out, explore, meet people, and experience some of what the Dominican Republic has to offer beyond the property. For me, those experiences are part of what makes traveling worthwhile.

I would definitely recommend Royalton Bávaro to someone considering a trip to Punta Cana. I enjoyed my stay, but I also believe some of the best parts of traveling happen when you step outside of the resort and experience the destination.

One experience I really enjoyed was visiting the monkey enclosure and natural pool. That is something I would recommend adding to your trip.

I also did an ATV excursion during my visit, but the particular experience we chose was not one I would recommend. If ATVs are on your list, I would suggest researching your options and choosing another provider.

My advice is simple: enjoy the resort, but don't let the resort be your entire Dominican Republic experience. Explore, try something new, and create some memories beyond the property.
