Blue Apple Beach is the vision of Portia Hart, a British-Trinidadian founder who came to
Cartagena, saw there was no beach club that matched the city’s energy, and decided to build one herself.
After years working around yachts and the Mediterranean, she brought that Riviera-meets-Caribbean feel to
Tierra Bomba — but with a deliberately human, inclusive and community-centered approach.

Today, Blue Apple is a certified B-Corp operating on solar power, paying living wages,
and investing in waste reduction, recycling and environmental regeneration through its foundation.
